A rustle here and there but ohh well

Here is my second vid. I am ever so sorry for the silly rustling when I move the camera haha, but please try to ignore it and keep watching. This is just an introduction to the magick behind the wand and how to create it, starting with a couple of techniques that you can use to work magick in your wand with your senses and through touch. I hope I am not being too random and garbled with this being done on my laptop. Please enjoy guys and leave me some comments :o) cheers!!

Wand of my dreams

The last post I did was on here was of a wand that I had made. I love the wand and have decided to keep it and not sell or gift it away. After tonight I now know why. During a guided meditation I was told to hold out my hands to receive a wand from the fae to commune with the elements. So I held out my hand and to my surprise what hovered just above my palms was this wand that I had made previously.
Now what is strange is that since making the wand I have only used it once and then I squirrelled it away wrapped in a black cloth (which I never do with wands really until they are consecrated) for safe keeping. I have never felt called to use it again until tonight where I just want to run up stairs and start wafting it about. This has exited me a lot and got me in the mood to make lots more things. So bring on the inspiration guys I'm well up for it. :oP

Blessed Be

Here is my latest creation. A blessing rod (wand), I spent a whole day making this and as a result missed the bus and was almost late to my friends house for magick and nibbles haha. The quartz sphere on the top I have had for a very long time and have never really known what I wanted to do with it and then yesterday I just did it haha. The wand always knows how it wants to be shaped and what it wants added to it. This one has a green earthy feel to it which is expressed by the Ivy leaf and the many different green gems on the side of the mount.

The wand wood is hazel and the gems are Quarts (sphere and pommel), Tourmaline, Cloudy Quartz and Shadow Quartz. The fixings and accents are all made from resin, finished off with water based paints and dry brushed with gold.

Swish and flick

This wand was one that took a long time to come up with. I wanted to make a bone wand for a long long time and when this piece of bone turned up I thought "why not".

The wood is willow and is secured with resin. The gems are quarts and turquoise.

To smudge

Here is a fan made for a friend. She gave me a selection of feathers from her Buzzard that sadly passed away. I offered to make her a fan to invoke the element air with and to smudge with. The idea went down well so here it is.

The fan is made from buzzard feathers, rabbit bone and resin. Feel free to get in touch if you would like to have one made.
